Getting ready for rescue mission

First officer's log, supplemental:

After discussing strategy with the command crew of the Eclipse, we are now preparing to find and rescue the missing Eclipse crew. The signal from the Tholians and the saucer dissapears a couple of lightyears away, at least to long range sensors. I hope we will find them back on short range sensors when we get there, but I fear the Tholians might have some sort of cloaking device we don't know about.

In order to prepare the ship, I've ordered a full level 3 diagnostic on all systems. Not everybody is happy about it, but that's their problem. We need to know what is working and what is not and fix what is not before we tangle with a technologically advanced species. And if they don't like that, they can complain with the captain.

I've taken a shift in science to help out with the diagnostic on the sensors. With the warp trail dissapearing they need to work at full capacity.
